One thing all golf courses around the Sporthotel Alpin have in common: the wonderful mountain scenery. You mostly play on flat courses and at every tee you have a gorgeous view onto the mountains.
The golf courses in the area:
- GC Zell am See
Golfclub Zell am See-Kaprun (36 holes; 3 km)
Not only because of the layout these two courses have many fans. The view on the glacier of the Kitzsteinhorn (where you can ski also in the summer) is unique.
- GC Urslautal
Golfclub Urslautal (Saalfelden/Maria Alm) (18 holes; 18 km)
On a plateau you are accompanied by the impressive scenery of the “Rocky Sea” and flower meadows.
- GC Mittersill
Golfclub Mittersill (18 holes; 27 km)
A diversified, but surprisingly flat course, which offers - besides the beautiful mountain scenery and draped barns - also wide fairways and crafty water obstacles
Golfclub Gut Brandlhof (18 holes; 20 km)
The "Saalach" river characterizes the 18 holes of the GC Brandlhof which is a quite flat course, located in the middle of the mountains. The views on the “Lofer Steinberge” is gorgeous.
Golfclub Goldegg (18 holes; 36 km)
You can expect a clever combination of short and no less sophisticated long fairways, garnished with water obstacles and some narrow paths. Sportive challenging as well as enjoyable!
Golfclub Gastein (18 holes; 49 km)
The since 2004 new nine holes open the course with pleasant wide boulevards and luscious, soft waved greens. So you can warm up for the task of the back-nine where you need some tactical flair and playfulness.
Golfclub Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee (18 holes; 54 km)
2008 this highlight of the Austrian golf landscape was 20 years old. The two faces - flat and wide at the front, a little more alpine at the back – offer fabulous golf fun with view on the Kitzbühel mountains.
